I have done all the fun stuff to create my bakery (LLC, Food Handler’s certified, registered with Department of Health Services, logo, business account, and business cards). It’s official and now, so is planning and creating the monthly menus. I love setting the menus–what flavors work well together and with the season. My first menu drop consists of a tried a true recipe from The Loopy Whisk, the gluten free cinnamon rolls. I have made this recipe for many gatherings and now I’m happy to share beyond my kitchen in the first Monthly Gathering in October. The 2nd seasonal item is pumpkin muffins with streusel. I have made sourdough pumpkin quick bread before, but I really wanted to showcase fresh milled flour as well. I tested the recipe from Amy Bakes Bread and I love it! This one will include a streusel because I just love a crunchy top to go along with the muffin.
I made a full menu so you would have an idea of what pairs well together, especially if you are planning your own gathering. I wanted to recreate the same menu from the Ladies’ Breakfast I hosted last year. A few things were different, but overall I shared a yummy breakfast with my family.
